This labor day, as we celebrate the social and economic achievements of workers in America, we step out into the dim morning light and feel a damp chill of morning dew: Autumn is near.

September marks the beginning of school years for many of our little ones, and the rest the community follows suit as coffee shops star brewing their pumpkin spice beverages and the trees threaten to turn yellow under a sky heavy with a cool breeze.
So let’s jump into sweater weather together and get in as many park days and outdoor play dates as we can before the clouds begin to give whispers of snowfall.

We hope to see you at one of our open events, and feel free to reach out if you are interested in becoming a member!

Spring has finally arrived in North Dakota! We’re loving the warm weather, which means we can finally start hosting events outside. Members can find more details for the month in our private Facebook group.

If you’re not a member yet, we’re so glad you found us! Come join us for an event or two – no obligations – to see if we might be a good fit for you. April 2025 Calendar

While the current weather forecast is predicting we might start April with a snowstorm (*sigh* North Dakota), we’re still looking forward to getting out and about this month! Events will be mostly indoors until temperatures are consistently warmer. If you’re a member, find additional details plus other conversations in our private Facebook group.

Not a member yet? Please join us! We’re a support group specifically designed for at-home and part-time working moms. We are NOT religious or political and encourage moms of all beliefs, backgrounds, interests, and parenting styles to join us. The schedule might change depending on the weather, sick kids, etc., so let us know beforehand if you’ll be dropping by. We want to make sure someone is there to greet you!

Trading Treasures at a Swap Meet

We had a great time hosting a “swap meet” at our March Monthly Mingle. (Thanks to one of our members for the idea!) Moms brought whatever items they didn’t need anymore to trade with each other for free. So fun that our club has this flexibility to provide what our members want.

Swap meet #2 coming up in April! Any leftover items after that will be donated.

Serving Hope at Heavens Helpers Soup Cafe

Did you know that MOMS Club® of Bismarck is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization? In order to maintain our charitable status, we organize at least one service project a year to get involved in our community. On Friday, we volunteered at Heavens Helpers Soup Cafe. It didn’t take long for us to learn the ropes and get comfortable serving food such as soup, sandwiches, salads, and desserts to those in need. We also rolled up our sleeves to wash dishes and clean. Our moms appreciate the opportunity to give back whenever they can. Thanks to all who were there!
