It was a beautiful morning for a walk through the George Bird Rotary Arboretum. Tucked away in a corner on the west side of Tom O’Leary Golf Course in central Bismarck, the arboretum has trails to explore and see a wide variety of plant life.

We enjoyed the fresh spring air at our monthly Kids’ Book Club & Create this morning! After reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar, the kids made their own caterpillars to take home. The book and craft were followed by play time at the park for our weekly Coffee & Chat (CNC).

Calling all moms with kids at home during the summer! (Moms with older school kids, teachers, etc.) Take advantage of a summer membership with our club. It was wonderful to see everyone and enjoy the sunshine yesterday at our May Monthly Mingle/New Member Tea! We officially welcomed three new members who have joined the club within the past year, and we held a baby sprinkle for another member expecting a child in the next few weeks.

Many thanks to White Heart Ranch in Sterling, ND for giving our group a tour of their farm this morning! It’s exciting for kids and their families to learn about agriculture up close. The farm also runs a small shop onsite that features North Dakota-made products.

Congrats to our Little Free Library on its first anniversary! MOMS Club® of Bismarck’s official Little Free Library #120561 is located at 817 Crescent Lane in Bismarck. Stop by sometime this month to exchange books!

Wow, thank you Bismarck/Mandan/Lincoln and surrounding areas for your support of our Easter fundraiser “Egg My Yard”! Because of you, we were able to raise $1,000 – several hundred dollars more than last year AND despite a massive three-day blizzard right before Easter that dumped a few feet of snow across the state!

100% of what we raised will be donated to Welcome House, a local organization supporting families and children experiencing homelessness. Check out the great work they’re doing: www.welcome-house.net.
