One of our favorite monthly events is the Kids’ Book Club & Create. This month, the kids read Bear Stays Up for Christmas and made their own paper snow globes. Great job!

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, MOMS Club® of Bismarck is actively involved in our community to support charitable causes. This morning, members who attended the November Moms’ Craft made beautiful holiday cards that will be donated to residents of a local assisted living facility. What a great way to spread holiday cheer and give to others!

‘Tis the season for holiday fun! Looking forward to these festive events coming up in December.

Thanks to everyone who joined us this morning at our Harvest Halloween Party! The autumn sun was warm enough that we were able to get together outside at a park. The kids read a Halloween-themed book, made a pumpkin patch craft, and decorated trick-or-treat bags with stickers. Then we passed out candy and celebrated a birthday.
MOMS Club® of Bismarck had a wonderful tour today of the Archaeology Lab at the Heritage Center! We discovered the faunal comparative collection, and the kids were able to hold a bison femur and turtle, wolf, and rodent skeletons. Then we looked at the material collection, where we checked out obsidian (volcanic glass), Knife River Flint, and viewed the projectile point collection. We also toured the archives, where over 12 million artifacts such as pottery, various knives, and other historic materials are stored and managed.
The fall weather was perfect for a tour of Apple Creek Farm outside Bismarck today! In a close vote, the kids declared the alpacas as their favorite thing to see, followed by the chickens.
