We love spending time with our members and their kids! Today we had a combined Kids’ Book Club & Create and a Valentine’s Day party. The kids read The Day It Rained Hearts by Felicia Bond and made their own Valentine trees.

There was also a Valentine card exchange and treats including petit fours, big sugar cookies with frosting to add, fresh raspberries and strawberries, cheese, meat, crackers, taco dip, tortilla chips, Sprite and apple juice, and decorated sugar cookies. It was delicious!

So good to see everyone today at the Monthly Mingle! This monthly “business” meeting is a chance for our members to chat about the latest club happenings and make decisions about events and service projects. Sometimes we host guest speakers as well. Today we welcomed a local attorney to discuss the importance of basic estate planning, including writing a will, health care directives, and designating a power of attorney.
